The article explains how moderators can manage their Fuel Cycle account settings, including user details, notifications, and FuelBot reports. Users can edit personal info, set notification preferences for tasks and Delta Testing projects, and customize FuelBot email summaries with daily, weekly, or monthly intervals. Super moderators have additional controls, like managing community access and closing accounts. Access these settings via the gear icon under Account Settings.
Notification Feed
Click the bell icon to view Notification Alerts for actions you're tracking.
Account Settings
Moderators may manage their Fuel Cycle account settings (such as passwords), communications settings, and automated community report settings via Account Settings.
Navigate to your Account Settings:
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen.
- Click Account Settings to see your account immediately.
- There are three new navigation icons under Account Settings: Account, Notifications, and FuelBot.
User Details
The first five fields show fixed information about a user account that cannot change through this screen:
- Username
- Role
- Current Status
- Join Date (Date Account Created)
- Login count
The following fields are available to edit:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Password—Change the user password by entering the Old Password, then a New Password twice to confirm.
- Member Type
- SSO Limited—The user is limited to logging in with only SSO.
- Default Active Community
- Language

Time Zone
- Daylight Savings

Choose Your Default Landing Page—This setting is only available on this platform and is specific to the platform you are in when you save it.
- Research Engine—Upon login, the user is directed to the Fuel Cycle platform.
- Core—Upon login, the user is directed to the community platform.
Super moderators have access to additional settings for all users:

Communities—For Super Moderators: for each community that the user has access to, the following settings are available:
- PII Access Level
- Product Access
- External Partner Credentials
- Close Account—Super Moderators may close any moderator account from the list of Fuel Cycle Users.
Notifications
Each moderator can update their own communications settings to change the frequency of their email notifications in the Notifications menu.
You can also access this page from the Notification Feed by clicking Settings.
Assignment Notifications
When enabled, you'll receive an email when someone assigns a task to you on the following schedule:
- Instant—An email is sent each time someone assigns a new item is assigned to you.
- Daily—An email is sent once a day that lists all items assigned to you within a 24-hour period.
There is a separate Save button for this section to save only this setting.
Delta Testing Platform Notifications
Moderators choose when to receive the notifications for Delta Testing Projects or Tickets:
- None
- For all projects created by me (default selection)
- For all projects
Moderators can also choose for themselves which type of notifications to receive:

- Comments are added
- The ticket status has changed
- The ticket is upvoted/downvoted
- Ticket descriptions are edited
There is a separate Save button for this section to save only this setting.
FuelBot
FuelBot is a reporting bot that keeps you updated on what's happening in our Fuel Cycle community without you having to log in. Set the reporting cadence you'd like, and FuelBot will send you a summary email of activities and participation in all projects in your community.
The following report intervals are available:
- Never—no FuelBot emails received
- Daily—FuelBot emails received daily
- Weekly—specify which day in the week you wish to receive FuelBot emails
- Monthly—specify which day in the month you wish to receive FuelBot emails
Set your FuelBot's reporting interval by clicking the gear button in the top right-hand corner. Click Account Settings. Then, click the FuelBot icon on the left.
FuelBot begins its reporting fetch at 4 AM US Eastern Standard Time.
