The Survey List in the legacy Fuel Cycle platform provides a centralized view of all imported surveys. Use this interface to track survey metadata, manage survey visibility, and perform key actions related to distribution and reporting.
To access the Survey List, click the Surveys module from the left navigation. Make sure to select the Surveys tab at the top.
Filters
You can filter surveys by:

Active or Archived

Status: Dropdown filter to show surveys by status (e.g., Draft, Locked, Archived)

Provider: Filter by survey provider (e.g., Alchemer, Qualtrics)
Survey Table Columns
- NameTitle of the survey as imported from the external platform.
- Survey AliasOptional field to assign a recognizable name. Click Add to assign one.
- ProviderExternal survey provider (e.g., Alchemer, Qualtrics).
- External Survey IDUnique identifier from the provider’s platform.
- StatusReflects the sync state between Fuel Cycle and the provider. Most common status: Locked.
- Import DateDate the survey was imported into Fuel Cycle.
- View(s)Count of how many times the survey has been viewed within the platform.
- ResponsesNumber of member responses received.
- TeamsVisibility controls. Currently always defaults to All Moderators.
- ReportLink to add this survey to a report. Click Add to begin.
- ActionsDrop-down menu for available survey-level operations. Options vary based on survey status and configuration.
Key Actions

Launch Qualtrics / Launch Ignition: Create a new survey using the selected engine.

Force Qualtrics Panel Update: Sync member panel data with Qualtrics for all connected surveys.
Notes

Locked status means the survey is finalized and cannot be edited.

Attached status (rare) indicates the survey is linked but not fully integrated into Fuel Cycle workflows.
Best Practices

Use clear aliases for easier reporting and searchability.

Archive unused or expired surveys to declutter your list.

Regularly review Responses and View(s) to monitor performance.
