Dashboard Overview 🎬 Follow
Your community dashboard is a powerful tool that provides real-time visibility into the performance of your organization’s programs, projects, and initiatives. Instantaneous reporting allows you to quickly identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize program effectiveness.
With Fuel Cycle Software’s Community Dashboard feature, users can access interactive visuals with detailed insights on key metrics like member rates or quick poll completes—enabling them to track progress over time and gain valuable insight into the impact of your efforts.
Sections
Users have access to quick actions and current information for the community. There are four distinct sections:
- Quick Actions
- Member Trends
- Community Statistics
- Currently Published Activities
Quick Actions
You can now quickly jump to the primary activities you complete in the community. The primary actions when you select the button include:
- Manage Activities: You will be directed to the Activities landing page to create a new activity or manage existing activities.
- Launch Alchemer (if enabled): Your Alchemer account opens in a new browser tab.
- Launch Qualtrics (if enabled): Your Qualtrics account opens in a new browser tab.
- Manage Campaigns: You will be directed to the Campaigns landing page where you can create a new campaign or manage existing campaigns.
- Manage Members:Â You will be directed to the Members landing page to create a new member, a member export, and a member participation export.
Member Trends
Current Total Members
When viewing the Current Total Members tile, you will see the current total members (Active plus Inactive), so you get a real-time view of your community size. This feature is not affected by any date filters and instead represents the current daily snapshot of total members.
Current Active Rate
When viewing the Current Active rate tile, you will see the current active rate (Active Members divided by Total Members), so you get a real-time view of the active rate. This feature is not affected by any date filters and instead represents the current daily snapshot of members.
Total Members Over Time
To understand community membership trends, total community membership over time is shown in a chart so you can make decisions and gain insights regarding member management.
The count of total members includes both active and inactive members. This chart allows you to view the daily totals over a specific period. You can export the chart as an image (PNG, JPEG, SVG), PDF, CSV, or Excel file by clicking the hamburger menu in the upper right of the chart.
Active Rate Over Time
If you want to understand activity rates, you can view the community activity rate over time so you can make decisions regarding member retention and rewards.
Active Rate is determined by dividing the total number of active members by total members based on a daily snapshot of community data. This chart allows you to see the active rate over a specific period. You can export the chart as an image (PNG, JPEG, SVG), PDF, CSV, or Excel file by clicking the hamburger menu in the upper right of the chart.
Date Picker
Active Rate and Total Members over Time are closely related trends. When you filter by date, you have customizable date options that allow you to view data in a set of unique periods.
The default state is past 30 days by day. You are also able to customize the date range or choose from the following by day, week, or month:
- Past 7 Days
- Past 30 Days
- Past 90 Days
- Past 180 Days
- Past 365 Days
- All-time
- Custom Range
When any period other than day is selected, an average of the database snapshots will be displayed.
All-time is defined as "from the first day a member joined the community."
Community Statistics
Community Statistics Date Filter
When you select the date filter, you can customize the date range to view results in a time frame of your choosing.
The default state is the past 30 days. You are also able to choose from the following date filters:
- Past 24 hours
- Past 7 days
- Past 30 days (default)
- Past year
- All-time
- Custom Range
Average Total Members
This number is determined by dividing Total Members by the Number of Days selected in the date filter. Total members are double opt-in members. Test Members are excluded from this and all calculations. This section is greyed out when 24 hours is selected. The percentage below represents the change relative to the previous period.
New Members
A total number of double opt-in members signed up during the period selected. The percentage below represents the change relative to the previous period.
Total Logins
The total number of logins to the community for the period selected. The percentage below represents the change relative to the previous period.
Average Participation Rate
The Average Participation Rate is determined by dividing unique participating users by unique user sessions for the period specified. Participation includes performing any action other than viewing, including likes, comments, file uploads, surveys taken, and forums posted.
Survey Completes
A total number of survey completions for the period specified. The percentage below represents the change relative to the previous period.
Quick Poll Completes
A total number of quick poll completions for the period specified. The percentage below represents the change relative to the previous period.
Member Comments
A total number of comments for the period specified. The percentage below represents the change relative to the previous period.
Files Uploaded
A total number of files uploaded for the period. The percentage below represents the change relative to the previous period.
Forum Posts
A total number of forum posts for the period. The percentage below represents the change relative to the previous period.
Currently Published Activities
Overview of what's happening in the community across all currently published activities.
This list includes the following details:
- Date Published
- Activity Name
- Category
- Completes (Survey Completes)
- Comments
- Uploads
- Views
