This article briefly summarizes each aspect of the Community > Settings > General Settings screen and how they appear in the Community.

Favicon

This is the image displayed on the address bar of the browser. When uploading your image, the file name has to be "favicon.ico" and the dimensions 16x16 pixels @ 72 dpi.

Logo

This image appears in the top left corner of any community page.

• Minimum resolution: 300 x 60 pixels @ 72 dpi.
• Preferred: 600 x 120 px at 96 dpi for headers/footers.

Footer Logo

This image appears in the bottom left corner of any community page.

Loading Indicator: This image will be displayed in the center of a page while loading. If you choose to upload one, the file type has to be in .gif format.

Background Color

This is the color that will be in the background of all community pages and will appear in areas not covered by the background image (if you choose to include one).

Background Image

There are several ways the background image can be displayed:

• No repeat: The image appears only once on the page
• Repeat tiles: The image repeats both horizontally and vertically to cover the entire background
• Repeat horizontally: The image is centered & repeated horizontally in the middle of the page
• Repeat vertically: The image is centered & repeated vertically in the middle of the page

In addition to the above settings, you can choose to have the selected image fixed when scrolling or move with the page as you scroll.

Link & Button Background Color

Color is used for all text-based links as well as all major action buttons in the community, such as launching into an activity or survey.

Community Font Color: This is the color of text used on the buttons with the button background color specified above. Make sure this color contrasts with the button background color so that the text is legible on the button. For example, if the button background color is black, you'd want the font color to be white.

Date Appearance

This section allows you to choose the preferred date format that will appear in the community. This setting applies to both the member and moderator sides of the community.

You may choose from any of the below options:

• m/d/yyyy (default)
• yyyy-mm-dd
• dd/mm/yy
• yy/mm/dd
• mm.dd.yyyy
• dd.mm.yyyy
• mmmm-dd-yyyy

A preview is available under the drop-down menu to show you how the date will display based on the chosen settings.

Activity Card Options

By choosing this option, you can hide the icons located at the bottom of the activity cards. These icons display the publish date, number of likes, album files, and comments related to that activity. Once you select this option, only the image, title, and description of the activity will appear on the card. This will create a cleaner and more streamlined look for your activity feed.

Powered By Logo

There is a checkbox option to hide the "Powered By Fuelcycle Inc." Logo from the right side of the footer.
