Any data sets that you create in FC Analytics will be listed on the FC Analytics Data Set Management Page.  From this page, you can launch into MarketSight directly, import completed data sets, and view imported data sets, as well as refresh, lock, clone, and delete existing data sets.

Navigate to the FC Analytics icon on the left from the Reporting tab.

Create Data Set

Click Create Data Set to create an FC Analytics data set.  Click here to learn about creating and importing data sets into MarketSight.

Launch MarketSight

Click Launch MarketSight to directly access the MarketSight platform in a separate tab within your browser.

Each data set in FC Analytics will include the following columns:

• Created Date - when this data set was created by a user
• Created By - which user created this data set
• Last Updated Date - when this data set was last edited by a user
• Last Updated By - which user last edited this data set
• Data Set Management - this drop-down menu lists helpful actions, depending on the status of the data set:
  • If the data set has not been sent to MarketSight:
    • Send to MarketSight - prepare and import the selected data set into MarketSight for analysis.
    • Clone Dataset - create a copy of the selected data set, with all the same parameters indicated in the copied data set.
    • Delete - delete the selected data set.
  • If the data set has been sent to MarketSight:
    • View in MarketSight - view the selected data set in MarketSight to begin analysis.  Selecting this option will open MarketSight in a new tab.
    • Refresh Dataset - refresh all data sources in the selected data set to include any updates.
    • Lock Dataset - prevent other users from refreshing the selected data set, allowing you to preserve your data set as of the date and time of the locking.  This action is only available for the creator of the selected data set.
    • Clone Dataset - copy the selected data set, with all the same parameters indicated in the copied data set
    • Delete - delete the selected data set
