Community Health Dashboards give you a clear view of your community's overall health and engagement in one place, using data points like activity participation and new member signup tracking.
Create a Community Health Dashboard
- In the left navigation menu, click Dashboards.
- Click the Create New Dashboard button in the top right, then select Community Health from the dropdown.
- On the dashboard builder, click the pencil icon and text boxes in the top left to give your dashboard a name and optional description.
- Click the Add to your dashboard block to start adding metric tiles.
Available tile categories
When you click the Add to your dashboard block, a popup will display all available tile categories. Each tile pulls metrics from a single category.

| Survey Participation | Total survey responses and unique participants over time (2 metrics) |
Note: The Membership tile displays members in active, inactive, and dormant statuses. These statuses are customized per community and can be adjusted in General Settings.
Configure a tile
- Click a tile category to select it, then click Next.
- In the Config Tile panel:
- Enter a custom Tile Name, or leave the default name that populates automatically.
- Select a Data Visualization format:
- Metric displays included metrics as numeric values.
- Chart displays a line graph of included metrics over a selected time scale (past 7, 30, or 90 days).
- Metric & Chart displays included metrics as a bar graph over a selected time scale.
- If you selected Chart or Metric & Chart, select a Time Scale: Past 7 days, Past 30 days, or Past 90 days.
- Under Included Metrics, check or uncheck the metrics you want to display.
- Click Add to Dashboard.
The dashboard will return to View mode after a tile is added.
Add and edit tiles
To add more tiles or edit existing ones:
- Click Edit in the top right of the dashboard.
- To add another tile, click the + Add another tile button at the bottom of the dashboard and repeat the configuration steps above.
- To edit or remove an existing tile, use the pencil and trash icons that appear on the tile in Edit mode.
Share and export your dashboard
Click the Share button in the top right to open the Share panel.
- Share tab: Generates a unique URL and password for the dashboard. Anyone with the link and password can view the dashboard without a Fuel Cycle account. For security, send the URL and password in separate communications.
- Export tab: Click Export Data File to Excel to download your dashboard metrics as an Excel file.
Manage your dashboard
From the dashboard, use the following options in the top toolbar:
- View All Dashboards returns you to the full list of dashboards in your community.
- The three-dot menu lets you set the dashboard as your homepage, archive it, or delete it.
- The star icon adds the dashboard to your Favorites list.
