Automatically direct Qualtrics survey results into Fuel Cycle.
- Click the Surveys button on the left side of the Fuel Cycle Community Dashboard.
- Click the Launch Qualtrics button
- Click the survey you want to edit.
- In the main Qualtrics survey editor screen, click the Survey Flow button on the left.

At the bottom of the page, there should be an End of Survey element. If it is not present, add one.
NOTE: The "End of Survey" component must always be the last component in the flow, as Fuel Cycle anticipates it to be positioned at the end.

Click Customize.
- Select Redirect to a URL.

Copy and paste the highlighted link exactly as it appears below (do not include HTTPS):
${e://Field/redirectURL}&surveyId=${e://Field/SurveyID}&responseId=${e://Field/ResponseID}&qualified=true - Click OK.
- In the main Qualtrics survey editor screen, navigate to Survey Builder.
- Click once on End of Survey.

Make the End of Survey message Redirect to URL.

Copy and paste the highlighted link exactly as it appears below (do not include HTTPS):

- When you finish the survey, click the Distributions tab at the top of the screen.
- Click Web.
- Click Use Anonymous Link.
- Copy the URL provided by Qualtrics to add to emails and to preview in the step below.
- Return to your original Fuel Cycle Survey page.
- Preview your survey by pasting the Qualtrics survey URL.
- Click on the Preview Survey button.
- You will be taken through a preview of your survey. You'll need to complete the survey, but the answers will not be saved.

Once you submit the survey preview, the system will check for the redirect URL.
- If the redirect URL is in place, you’ll see a page with an Import Survey button. Click the button. The survey will be imported into the platform and may be attached to any content.

If the redirect URL is not properly in place, you will see the Qualtrics default end message (“Thanks for taking this survey”). You will not be able to import the survey until you return to Qualtrics and add the redirect URL to the survey as outlined above.
Note: The exception to this redirect is in the case of recruitment screening surveys. Those require a special redirect link.
- Assign to Teams—Assign a team of moderators to lead this project. The project is available to all moderators by default if no team is assigned. Once you assign a team, this may not be changed.
- Survey Alias—Name your survey as you wish for members to see it. This step allows you to conceal your internal naming conventions.
